In today's world, fewer people are learning about the classics, yet the field holds immense value for all, even those who may choose to not pursue it academically. CLASSICS4KIDS aims to cultivate and inspire curiosity for the Ancient Mediterranean in youth starting at an early age. We seek to provide opportunities for students to explore Latin and other ancient cultures, filling a gap for schools that have cut or never offered Latin programs. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive sessions, we bring the culture and history of the ancient Mediterranean to life, sparking curiosity and a love for learning in the next generation.
Our EventsOur free library sessions are designed to inspire young learners through engaging and interactive activities that bring the classics to life. Perfect for kids just starting their journey into the ancient world. With hands on projects---like the Trojan Horse, children are excited to learn new things!
Learn MoreDive deeper into the classics with our paid academic classes. Tailored for students seeking a more structured and in-depth exploration of ancient cultures, language, and history. These classes are designed to nurture academic excellence by preparing students for prestigious competitions like the National Mythology Exam and the National Latin Exam, offering them the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and earn national recognition.
Learn MoreOur library sessions are perfect for children in elementary grades 2-5, but younger or older students are always welcome to join in.
Not at all! Our academic classes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to those preparing for national exams.
Nope! The library sessions are always walk-in, but we do often post an RSVP form so we know roughly how many students we need to prepare for.
